Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicle systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and generate sound recommendations.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Complete DOT forms and repair orders (including uploading photos/findings) and operate in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and federal regulations (OSHA/EPA/DOT).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education/certification and experience).
  • •Possess and supply the required set of hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Obtain ASE 608/609 certification within 18 months.
  • •Must be able to complete/pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; must hold a valid driver’s license and be 21+.
