Key Responsibilities

•Guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation as a security subject-matter expert.
•Conduct threat modeling, architecture review, security code review, security assessment, and security testing across application and infrastructure layers.
•Perform cloud infrastructure security reviews, with primary focus on AWS permissions and configuration issues (including IAM and S3).
•Run in-depth security reviews for new features and functionalities, identifying vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) and risks such as RCE.
•Recommend security architecture/configuration improvements and provide hands-on security training and secure coding best practices to engineering teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 98,900 - 228,700 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of security experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
•Extensive experience in security testing across web applications, native applications, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
•Strong understanding of software security architecture and the SDLC, including threat modeling, secure code review, and cryptography.
•Hands-on experience with AWS and common AWS service components, with the ability to identify design and configuration gaps.
•Good development experience in one or more programming languages/platforms, such as Java.
