•Own and execute EHS strategies that align with corporate objectives and aspirations.
•Utilize leading and lagging KPI metrics to drive EHS performance; report results and action plans to stakeholders at all levels.
•Partner with Heinz Legal and Communications on incidents that could jeopardize people, plant or brands and ensure appropriate communications.
•Keep abreast of applicable EHS legislation and practices impacting the factory.
•Develop and manage the EHS department budget and cost controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 104,200 - 130,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent (Bachelor's level required)
•Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in safety and environmental management
•Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and management systems (ISO 14001, Safety Management Systems)
•Continuous improvement principles and practices; ability to lead change
•Professional designations such as CHCM, OSHA 30, CSP, ASP preferred; knowledge of EEO, FDA & USDA regulations
