Job Summary

Lead APAC Internal Audit projects and help execute a risk-based audit plan by assessing risk, root causes, and control effectiveness across KKR business units and operational support functions. Collaborate with the global Internal Audit team to drive strategic direction, conduct global audits, support enterprise risk assessment, and prepare audit reports with recommendations. Partner with management to implement corrective action plans and maintain expertise in securities and asset management regulations, accounting principles, and audit best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee Internal Audit projects (regional and global) and report into managers located in London and New York City.
•Help execute the risk-based Internal Audit Plan and support the annual enterprise risk assessment process.
•Lead global audits and business operational reviews while collaborating across the global Internal Audit team.
•Execute internal audits by identifying and assessing financial, operational, legal/regulatory, and IT risks, including testing mitigating controls.
•Develop audit materials and reports, present recommendations to management, and partner on corrective action plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.
•10+ years of working experience, including experience at a Big 4 accounting and financial services firm (investment banking, asset management, alternative investment firms).
•Professional certifications are a merit.
•Strong project management and leadership skills, working effectively both individually and in teams.
•Proficiency in English required; superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to apply professional skepticism.
