Job Summary

Perform basic construction work supporting the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters, and regulators. Assist with leakage surveys and maintain accurate records and reports to meet company and regulatory requirements. Operate and inspect assigned company vehicles and equipment, address safety and encroachment issues, and complete required safety training. Work outdoors in varying weather, handle standby and emergency call-outs as needed, and be subject to DOT/PHMSA and MVR screening.

•Perform basic, routine work using prescribed procedures and seek guidance for deviations.
•Assist in installing and maintaining natural gas lines, meters, and regulators, including possible leakage survey support.

•Identify, address, and report safety and encroachment issues to resolution and completion.
•Ensure safe operation and inspection of assigned company vehicles and equipment, while adhering to company values and safety manual requirements.

•Valid driver’s license in accordance with company standards.
•Complete assigned classes, Operator Qualifications (OQ) and OJT for the Construction Learning Path, and obtain/maintain required OQs and training/certifications.

•Ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and provide basic factual information.
