Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and optimize low-observable (LO) features, including shaping, material selection, and internal component arrangement.
  • •Perform detailed radar cross-section (RCS) analysis using CEM tools and iterative modeling with aerodynamic sizing, stability/control checks, and structural constraints.
  • •Develop and validate physics-based models to predict and mitigate signatures, and conduct trade studies across performance, cost, and weight implications.
  • •Support planning and execution of compact range/anechoic chamber testing, open-air range testing, and flight trials to validate stealth performance.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate stealth materials/components and ensure stealth requirements are met across the platform lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • •5–10 years’ experience in an electromagnetic (EM) engineering role, preferably radar LO/stealth with a focus on RCS reduction.
  • •In-depth knowledge of electromagnetic principles, RF propagation, wave propagation, and antenna theory.
  • •Proficiency with computational electromagnetics (CEM) tools such as CST Microwave Studio, FEKO, or HFSS.
  • •Experience using scientific programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis/automation and lab testing tools such as vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
