Job Summary

Design and develop RF integrated photonics (PIC) devices and subsystems for surface radar and sensor programs. Lead simulation/modeling, layout, foundry-based fabrication work, post-fabrication assembly, and benchtop testing. Perform wideband RF and hybrid electronic-photonic architectural trade studies, and contribute to technical documentation and proposals to advance integrated photonics technologies. Collaborate across engineering, program, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Initiate and contribute to the design, simulation/modeling, and layout of integrated photonic components in a foundry-based fabrication environment.
•Support post-fabrication post-processing/assembly, test setup, and benchtop testing of integrated photonic components, subsystems, and systems.
•Conduct architectural trade studies for systems and sub-systems involving wideband RF and hybrid electronic-photonic components.
•Contribute to technical volumes (white papers and proposals) and independent R&D projects for hybrid electronic-photonic components and subsystems.
•Communicate and collaborate with program management, technical leadership, engineering leadership, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

Key Requirements
