Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Army tactical and non-tactical wheeled vehicles at a contractor-managed turn-in site. Document findings and repairs using required forms and maintenance records, maintain compliance with safety/HAZMAT and ISO QMS requirements, and support high-volume turn-in coordination.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct inspections on wheeled vehicles and trailers during turn-in to verify condition, serviceability, and compliance with Army standards.
•Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and brake system malfunctions and perform PMCS using Army standards and TMs.
•Perform corrective and preventive maintenance (engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, electrical, braking), including lubrication, filter changes, tire replacement, and part swaps.
•Record findings and maintenance actions on required forms or automated maintenance records, maintaining accurate maintenance logs for audit readiness in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
•Follow Army, OSHA, and company safety regulations, ensure HAZMAT/environmental compliance, and support turn-in operations coordination with other site roles.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training in vehicle mechanics preferred.
•3–5 years of motor vehicle maintenance experience (Army tactical/non-tactical vehicle experience strongly preferred).
•Familiarity with U.S. Army maintenance procedures including PMCS and Technical Manuals (TMs).
•Knowledge of Army maintenance regulations (AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-8) and Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army.
•Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read and interpret TMs, schematics, and diagrams.
