Job Summary

Enable Airside product sales by serving as a subject matter expert and trusted partner to North America field sales teams. Provide timely phone/email product support using Zendesk, collaborate on equipment selection, specifications, and pricing questions, and support testing improvements to Trane Select Assist. Work with product and growth teams to deliver training, provide voice of customer for portfolio strategy, and support customer visit activities in Columbia, SC or Lexington, KY.

•Serve as a trusted partner and subject matter expert for Airside products, continually developing technical and application knowledge.
•Provide phone/email product support to the North America Field Sales Organization, including responding to product support requests via Zendesk.
•Collaborate on equipment understanding and systems application, including reviewing customer specifications, bill of materials, and pricing questions.
•Support testing and improvement of the equipment selection system, Trane Select Assist.
•Partner with Product Support and Product Management teams on training, voice-of-customer input for portfolio strategies (NPD, TLME, VAVE), and customer visit support.

Key Requirements

•Tactful and assertive leadership skills to interact effectively with field teams, sales assistants, and customers.
•Ability to make clear decisions in time-sensitive situations and recognize developing issues to diffuse potential problems.
•Solid organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and projects (HVAC knowledge is beneficial but not required).
