Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct semiconductor equipment training needs assessment, maintain product technical knowledge, and disseminate new information to training and business unit staff.
  • •Manage multiple training and technical projects, communicating with product groups for course updates and leading NPI training development projects with minimal support.
  • •Develop hardware training student guides and instructional materials, using desktop publishing tools, and revise/edit final course copy.
  • •Present technical training in house and at customer sites, managing classroom/lab activities and ensuring safety procedures and course objectives are met.
  • •Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support, assist with system repairs, and support equipment readiness through preventive maintenance, maintenance requirements, and quality service standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training, plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor machinery equipment; or 6 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience if no Bachelor’s degree.
  • •2 years of formal or informal experience in education, performance based training, or training/presentation delivery to external customers to attain FKA instructional Developer within the first year.
  • •Preferred: nationally recognized certification in “Instructional Design” or 2 years of formal or informal experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills, plus written communication and the ability to present technical information.
  • •Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal communication; resourceful and able to work and learn independently where necessary.
