Job Summary

Own cost reporting and financial performance for major oil & gas construction projects, supporting cost reporting strategy, budgets, forecasts, and project performance analysis. Provide specialist cost engineering advice across construction contracts, monitor costs against approved budgets, and support project billing and close activities (AR/AP). Build and maintain financial trackers, support dashboard reporting/automation, and help ensure compliance with financial regulations and AACE best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement cost reporting strategies for major construction projects.
•Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; monitor costs against approved budgets.
•Conduct financial analysis and reporting on project performance.
•Support project billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activities.
•Maintain internal financial trackers and support digital dashboard reporting and automation; adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, construction management, business administration, or equivalent related work experience.
•5–7 years of experience in project cost engineering or cost management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
•Working knowledge of financial management systems and software.
•Experience preparing and managing project budgets and financial reporting, preferably with an EPC background.
•Ability to implement financial strategies (risk identification, quantification, and allocation) and coordinate multiple stakeholders to produce robust financial documents.
