Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate general failure analysis lab tools including TEM, SEM, and optical scopes.
  • •Perform electrical probing and advanced characterization on silicon devices (wafer-level and site-specific structures).
  • •Set up, operate, and troubleshoot probe stations and electrical measurement systems.
  • •Analyze electrical data (e.g., IV, CV, leakage, shorts/opens) and interpret schematics/layouts to isolate faults and identify root causes.
  • •Partner with FA engineers, improve probing workflows and BKMs, and support tool ownership plus lab sustaining and cross-functional yield initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or related STEM fields.
  • •2+ years of hands-on lab experience with TEM/FIB/SEM or nanoprobing instrumentation, or 2+ years in a lab preparing samples for analysis.
  • •US citizenship required.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • •Ability to obtain/maintain a US Government Security Clearance at a minimum Secret level.
