Job Summary

Lead the occupational health care team as the clinical and operational leader for Occupational Health Services. You’ll implement facility occupational health programs, supervise and evaluate nursing and support staff, and ensure practice aligns with standards and scope of practice. Manage workers’ compensation cases, uphold OSHA/state/company/legal compliance and confidentiality, oversee staffing and scheduling, and support safety/ergonomic initiatives and Team Member health education.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide clinical and operational leadership for Occupational Health Services and guide, support, and supervise occupational health staff.
•Implement and maintain facility occupational health programs, policies, and procedures aligned with standards and scope of practice.
•Supervise and evaluate nursing and support personnel; conduct annual performance evaluations; manage hiring and scheduling to ensure staffing across all shifts.
•Manage workers’ compensation cases and ensure OSHA, state, company, and legal reporting compliance while maintaining confidentiality.
•Support facility safety and ergonomic initiatives and develop and deliver health education programs for Team Members. Additionally, participate in facility management meetings and perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

•Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
•2+ years’ management experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or a relevant nursing field preferred.
•Basic computer skills and ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
•Must be able to walk unassisted through the plant, quickly respond to medical emergencies, climb stairs, assess team members swiftly, and perform CPR if required.
•Excellent verbal and written communication plus independent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
