Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the end-to-end import lifecycle from PO issuance to final delivery.
  • •Review and validate import documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin) and ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, and HS code/duty structures.
  • •Coordinate customs clearance with CHA, verify Bill of Entry filing accuracy, and support duty payment to avoid demurrage/detention.
  • •Negotiate freight rates, monitor logistics costs, analyze landed costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • •Track shipments and produce MIS reporting on shipment performance, freight costs, and delivery timelines; drive process improvements and lead-time reduction using ERP/SAP.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Commerce, or Business Administration.
  • •8+ years of experience in Import Logistics or International Supply Chain.
  • •Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution industries (preferred).
  • •Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems for shipment tracking and reporting.
  • •Ability to maintain compliance with import documentation and customs requirements.
