Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a caseload of EL/PL delegated authority fixed-fee claims, including pre-action disclosure and evidence review.
  • •Instruct Counsel/experts; attend conferences and trials; draft orders and cost schedules.
  • •Review evidence including medical and personnel records; conduct investigations and obtain witness statements.
  • •Liaise with insured, claimant solicitors and witnesses; ensure client SLA compliance and handle routine correspondence.
  • •Set initial strategy for management of the claim and monitor matters through to conclusion.

  • •Legal education (ILEX, LPC or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
  • •Previous personal injury file handling experience.
