Job Summary

Support Oil & Gas and remediation projects by strengthening safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. Conduct Health and Safety Plan (HASP) reviews, assist with hazard identification and risk assessments, and support pre-field kickoffs. Partner with project managers, engineers, and field teams to integrate safety into execution plans, develop safety documentation, and analyze incidents to recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform comprehensive HASP reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and project-specific risk mitigation.
•Provide planning support during project development, including hazard identification, risk assessments, and control selection.
•Lead or support pre-field kickoff meetings to align on safety expectations, procedures, and mitigation strategies.
•Partner with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to integrate safety into project execution strategies.
•Monitor and interpret local, state, and federal safety regulations and develop safety documentation and reports to support project needs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience supporting safety, health, and environment for Oil & Gas or remediation projects.
•Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be accepted in lieu of the degree/experience requirements.
•Pass client-specific background and drug & alcohol screening if offered.
•Preferred: 8+ years of experience supporting Safety, Health, and Environment functions for Oil & Gas and remediation projects.
•Preferred: Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHST.
