Job Summary

Perform corrective, breakdown, and preventive maintenance on a limited number of machines for Shift B, resolving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical, and PLC-related issues. Ensure Environmental Health and Safety compliance, troubleshoot to determine root causes, support product/process renewal, and improve maintenance documentation. Provide day-to-day support to the Manufacturing Engineer or Manager, coach coworkers, and direct/coordinate contractors.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform corrective, breakdown, and preventive maintenance to optimize machinery and production performance.
•Carry out 1st line repairs on a limited number of machines in one field of work.
•Resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical, or PLC-related equipment issues.
•Troubleshoot technical problems to determine root cause of malfunctions and support failure analysis.
•Create and/or improve maintenance procedure documentation and direct/coordinate contractors; provide day-to-day tasks support to the Manufacturing Engineer or Manager.

Key Requirements

•High school or 9th-grade diploma required; technical studies in maintenance, electromechanics, electronics, or related fields are desirable, or equivalent experience.
•Electronics, electromechanical, or electrical technician training from a technical institution (or equivalent experience) required, preferably with medical-device environment experience.
•Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
•Basic to intermediate English; proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).
•Desirable knowledge of GDPs, FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485, Japan regulations, and ability to perform self-training effectively.
