Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain ongoing compliance with Health and Safety practices (EHSS, WHMIS, hazard assessments, PPE)
  • •Paint components according to drawings
  • •Perform plating processes including anodizing, chromate, passivate, and etch
  • •Conduct abrasive blasting and other surface treatment operations
  • •Measure and gauge parts to ensure quality, maintaining clean/organized work areas and following work instruction packages

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • •Ability to read blueprints/sketches and interpret drawings, including geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • •Knowledge of metrology equipment such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
  • •Understanding of quality systems
  • •Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs and repeat lifting of 15 lbs or less
