Lead maintenance teams responsible for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and the powerhouse. Drive smooth operations by minimizing mechanical downtime and maximizing production efficiency through maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring using KPIs like overall equipment effectiveness. Ensure USDA compliance, maintain maintenance documentation and inventory records, and provide continuity and coaching to support employee development and safe, high-performing maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, including machine repairs.
•Develop and implement maintenance systems and schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production, including long-term solutions and day-to-day troubleshooting.
•Maintain and report maintenance KPIs and provide regular status updates to maintenance management.
•Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory.
•Provide continuity in the absence of key personnel and drive employee development and coaching in the Maintenance Department.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent education/experience combination.
•Experience acting as a lead through training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process/project.
•Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office, and may require long hours and weekends.
