Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree (BEng/BSc/BIng) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical, Civil (tailings or water focused), or Environmental Sciences (Hydrology, Geography).
  • •In the 2nd, 3rd, or Final year of study for the 2027 academic year.
  • •Minimum 60% average to date, with all subjects passed for the 2026 academic year to date.
  • •Not in receipt of another bursary/scholarship (and no service obligations you must still fulfil after studies).
  • •Good academic and personal fit: community-minded, team-oriented, professional/ethical behaviour, willingness to learn/accept feedback, and strong written/verbal communication.
