Job Summary

Lead verification and validation (V&V) for the A220 next-generation automated flight systems within Airbus’ autoflight team. Own maturity testing and compliance activities supporting development and certification, manage testing priorities and strategies, define test bench needs, draft and execute manual/automated test procedures, analyze results, and produce certification compliance reports. Coordinate with technical teams and suppliers while reviewing V&V plans to ensure systems meet certification objectives.

•Lead maturity testing, verification, and validation (V&V) activities for the development and certification of the next generation of A220 automated flight systems.

•Draft and execute test procedures (manual and automated), analyze test results, and write certification compliance reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Software, or Aerospace Engineering.
•At least 10 years of experience in avionics systems verification and validation (V&V) in a development context.
•Strong engineering change management and knowledge of avionics systems development and certification processes.
•Excellent knowledge of avionics industry standards and regulations, including 14 CFR Part 25, ARP4754, DO-178, DO-331, and DO-254.
•Deep expertise in avionics systems, specifically guidance systems, autopilot, and autothrottle.
