Job Summary

Lead strategy and M&A support for RTX’s Corporate Strategy & Development team. You’ll help shape enterprise and business unit priorities, perform defense and commercial market and competitor analyses, and support annual strategic planning and portfolio reviews. The role also contributes to acquisitions, divestitures, and other financial transactions through modeling, presentation development, and due diligence, including building analytical models and briefing senior leaders with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

•Support development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies aligned with long-term growth objectives.
•Conduct defense and commercial aerospace market, customer, and competitor analyses to identify industry trends, threats, and emerging opportunities.
•Assess customer needs, defense budget priorities, acquisition trends, and geopolitical developments to inform strategies.
•Support annual strategic planning processes, portfolio reviews, and long-range business unit planning.
•Contribute to acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions through financial modeling, presentation development, and due diligence execution.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
•Proven analytical and financial modeling skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•Aerospace & defense, industrial, or technology sector experience.
•Ability to take ownership of assigned projects/teams and independently drive results in ambiguous situations.
