Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build the core agent harness for orchestration, tool integrations, and context/memory management.
  • •Ship agentic applications end to end—from ambiguous problems to production agents—and feed learnings back into the platform.
  • •Build trajectory-level evaluation systems that score reasoning and actions, using simulation environments and synthetic task generation.
  • •Architect action guardrails as platform primitives, including least-privilege tool scoping, permission models, approval gates, sandboxing, and rollback.
  • •Raise the technical bar via architecture/code reviews and mentorship, making and defending evidence-based “don’t ship” calls.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer or ML-focused software engineer, with strong Python and distributed-systems fundamentals, shipping LLM-powered systems to production at scale.
  • •Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Hands-on experience building agentic systems end to end (tool use, orchestration, context management, multi-step planning) on top of frontier models in production.
  • •Deep expertise evaluating agents with trajectory-level evals, tool-call scoring, and simulation environments; able to explain why final-answer accuracy is insufficient.
  • •Proven ability to design action-level guardrails (permission/tool-scoping, approval gates, blast-radius controls, sandboxing) where mistakes have consequences.
