Develop referral sources and partnerships with real estate agents and financial advisors, staying current on market and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect home lending business to build and develop new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process a targeted number of residential mortgage transactions in line with home lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather required loan documents at registration and remain the primary point of contact throughout the loan process.
•Develop and maintain KeyBank product knowledge, manage loan origination systems/workflows, and stay current on real estate and mortgage industry trends.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.94 hourly

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production.
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, and local/state real estate and finance laws.
•Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Excellent written and verbal communication and strong customer service skills.
•Ability to generate mortgage business and manage the loan origination process through closing.
