Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead construction oversight for mine infrastructure, processing facilities, and support facilities, ensuring alignment with engineering design, specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • •Manage construction contractors, subcontractors, and field teams with oversight for safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • •Serve as the primary interface between owner, contractor, and engineering teams to ensure communication and risk mitigation.
  • •Coordinate with design engineers, geotechnical teams, and stakeholders to support constructability, sequencing, and field modifications.
  • •Oversee QA/QC, inspection, and material testing; develop execution plans, schedules, risk registers, and cost tracking; and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • •10+ years of relevant experience in large-scale heavy civil construction, process facilities, and/or mining infrastructure.
  • •Hands-on construction management experience in active mining settings, with strong preference for both open pit and underground mine development.
  • •Knowledge of mineral processing facility development and construction (e.g., crushing, milling, recovery circuits) and experience preferred.
  • •Safety-focused mindset and construction plan/specifications experience connecting scope, schedule, and cost; MSHA/OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
