Job Summary

Own end-to-end manufacturing and process solutions for key design features across Oura’s new and sustaining products. Define best-in-class processes, qualify manufacturing equipment and suppliers, and drive supplier performance globally from NPI through mass production. Partner with Quality, Material, and Product teams to optimize cost, cosmetics, and reliability using data, failure mode analysis, DFM reviews, and DOE-driven corrective actions. Support manufacturing ramps and resolve issues with cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Define best-in-class manufacturing and process flows to meet Oura design and operational requirements.
•Partner with Quality, Material, and Product Design teams to optimize manufacturing processes for cost, cosmetics, and reliability.
•Identify, research, develop, and qualify manufacturing equipment and suppliers supporting Oura hardware development goals.
•Use data to drive process decisions, including part tolerances and specifications, and resolve production issues by analyzing root causes.
•Develop and document processes, parameters, consumables, and secondary operation requirements; support manufacturing ramps and work with sourcing to set supply chain requirements.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 172,500 - 203,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of direct experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment as a Supplier Development Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Supplier Industrialization Engineer, or equivalent role.
•Experience working with global suppliers to establish and qualify manufacturing processes from NPI to mass production.
•Experience conducting Design For Manufacturing (DFM) reviews to identify risks and challenges before build start.
•Ability to analyze failure modes and identify process or design root causes.
•Experience applying quality controls, dimensional capability analysis, and cosmetic specifications, plus DOE to drive and validate corrective actions.
