Key Responsibilities

•Administer, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and campus networks to ensure robust security policies and threat prevention.
•Manage NAC policies with Cisco ISE and oversee large-scale wireless infrastructure (Cisco 9800).
•Ensure DoD STIG compliance and conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
•Develop and maintain network automation scripts (Python/PowerShell/Ansible) to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
•Provide senior-level technical support and mentorship to junior team members while maintaining documentation of network architecture and SOPs.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer/Senior Network Operator in a DoD or similar high-security environment
•Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
•Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama) and Cisco Switching (Catalyst 9300 & 9400)
•Proven experience deploying and managing Cisco ISE for 802.1x and NAC
•DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) and scripting/automation capability (Python/PowerShell/Ansible)
