Key Responsibilities

  • •Assume responsibility for efficient, accurate teller functions and represent the bank in a courteous, professional manner.
  • •Receive and process deposits, loan payments, transfers between accounts, and cash checks/negotiable instruments.
  • •Cash and reconcile transactions by examining documents for endorsements/negotiability, processing required items, and balancing/verifying cash daily while promptly resolving discrepancies.
  • •Operate the online teller terminal, maintain privacy of customer information, and follow teller procedures and compliance requirements.
  • •Cross-sell and offer bank products/services, complete required reports/records, support training/orientation as needed, and attend meetings/trainings as scheduled.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred; previous teller experience preferred.
  • •Understanding of bank operations preferred.
  • •Good communication skills and good math skills.
  • •Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (e.g., coin/money counting machines, adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, telephone).
