Job Summary

Support the House of Blues Las Vegas bar by maintaining, stocking, and ensuring cleanliness and safety for efficient bartending operations. Stay current on menu items, assist with opening/running/closing side duties, replenish ice and bar supplies, and wash bar glassware. Follow special events guidelines, dispose of trash and recyclables correctly, operate the trash compactor, and help provide responsible alcohol service in line with local ordinances and HOB policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain, stock, and keep the bar clean to improve bartending team efficiency and productivity.
•Stay informed about current menu items and descriptions.
•Handle side duties including stocking ice bins and liquor/beer/wine coolers, and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
•Clean and assist with maintaining bar equipment; wash and clean all bar glassware.
•Perform opening/running/closing side duties, dispose of trash/recyclables properly, operate the trash compactor, and support responsible alcohol service per local ordinances and HOB policies.

Key Requirements

•State of Nevada Food Handler Certification and Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent).
•Responsible Alcohol Training Certification (or equivalent).
•Ability to work late hours.
•Flexible schedule.
•Skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork (with tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms).
