Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned construction projects, establishing schedules and project parameters and contributing to tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
  • •Assist with CPM and histogram analyses to support system objective delivery.
  • •Support engineering activities, including engineering programming and material selection related to assigned projects.
  • •Help establish and maintain an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring forecasted cost at completion.
  • •Contribute to RFQs and subcontractor management: prepare RFQ materials, receive and qualify proposals, and help supervise assigned staff, subcontractors, and installers while communicating with stakeholders on scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full internship duration; strong preference for Construction Engineering/Building Management/Construction Management or equivalent.
  • •Must have completed at least the second year (sophomore year) before the start of the summer internship.
  • •Knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and means (via relevant coursework, projects, groups, or related practical experience).
  • •Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance; no major or frequent traffic violations in the prior 3 years.
