Job Summary

Own end-to-end data engineering projects—from pipeline design to production—covering high-volume ETL/ELT for marketplace, user behavior, and transactions. Build and optimize data warehouse/datamart structures, streaming real-time pipelines, and components of a data warehouse migration with security and governance. Partner with Data Scientists and Analysts to enable personalization, pricing, and fraud detection. Troubleshoot reliability and mentor engineers while advancing AI-assisted development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Initiate, plan, and independently deliver data engineering projects and pipeline deliverables from design through production.
•Design, build, and optimize high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines for marketplace listings, user behavior, and transaction data.
•Build and maintain streaming/real-time pipelines for event-based, low-latency use cases.
•Own data warehouse and datamart design, including DBA operations and architecture for data warehouse migration with security and governance.
•Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues, and mentor junior/mid-level data engineers.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience or related field.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•Mastery of SQL and Linux shell scripting, plus proficiency in at least one language: Python, Java, Scala, or Golang.
•Strong ETL/ELT concepts and orchestration tools (Apache Airflow), including evaluating AI-generated pipeline code critically.
•Proven experience designing and optimizing data warehouses and datamarts, including DBA operations and solid data modeling across SQL and NoSQL.
