Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, replace, and connect natural gas system equipment including piping, meters, stations, regulators, and service lines.
  • •Maintain and repair gas lines connected to meters and perform minor repairs to regulation equipment.
  • •Verify proper operation of safety devices and identify defective components or equipment.
  • •Participate in inspections and compliance verification, and maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and documentation.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field and support clients through construction projects, including participating in an on-call rotation (24/7 coverage).

Key Requirements

  • •Valid G1 (Ontario) or TAG-1 (Québec) certification is required.
  • •Minimum 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Experience installing and maintaining gas equipment or in a related field (construction, mechanical, plumbing).
  • •Fluency in French (speaking, reading, writing) and a good knowledge of English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • •Knowledge of applicable gas codes/standards/regulations (Z662, B149) and ability to read/interprete plans and technical drawings.
