Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the planning and design of runways, taxiways, aircraft stands, GSE roads, and associated airside infrastructure within applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • •Provide technical direction and engineering oversight across concept, preliminary, and detailed design stages to optimize operational performance and design excellence.
  • •Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate engineering and operational risks affecting Airfield Design Development projects.
  • •Lead engineering design reviews and ensure compliance with ICAO and GCAA standards, regulations, and requirements across airfield infrastructure projects.
  • •Advise, manage, and communicate technical requirements to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Airport Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or closely related discipline with 5–7 years of relevant experience (and 7–10 years overall).
  • •Post graduate qualification in Airport Engineering.
  • •Strong expertise in airfield engineering design with operational safety, GCAA/ICAO regulatory compliance, and airport capacity optimization.
  • •Experience with airport master planning and design of runways, taxiways, aircraft stands, and GSE roads, including engineering design reviews and aircraft compatibility assessments.
  • •Knowledge of evaluating complex engineering solutions and translating technical, operational, and safety risks into reports, executive briefings, and stakeholder presentations.
