Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment problems quickly and perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete, timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, plus extensive knowledge of construction equipment.
  • •Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment issues.
  • •Must be able to move/stand/stoop/bend freely and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate and field service/maintenance repair experience are preferred.
