Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end payroll operations for US and international employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • •Administer and maintain payroll operations in Rippling HCM, including pay runs, tax setup, deductions, and employee data integrity.
  • •Serve as the primary liaison between People and Finance to ensure payroll-related information (new hires, terminations, pay changes, leaves, commission/bonus data) flows accurately.
  • •Lead multi-state payroll compliance and manage year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation, tax filings, and audits.
  • •Maintain and improve payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls; partner with Finance on month-end payroll expense reconciliation and support audits and ad hoc payroll projects.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive payroll experience with full ownership of multi-state payroll cycles.

  • •Strong payroll compliance knowledge across all US states, with direct experience in California, New York, Texas, and/or Florida preferred.
  • •Cross-functional experience partnering between People/HR and Finance with strong stakeholder communication.
