Job Summary

Execute quality assurance reviews and self-assessments for the Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Quality Assurance & Improvement Program (QAIP). Partner with audit leadership to evaluate audit quality and professional judgment against the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and CAS methodology. Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities, validate remediation, and produce clear, actionable reporting for senior management and the Audit Committee, with minimal supervision.

Location: Minneapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte, Milwaukee

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute quality assurance reviews (in-flight, post-engagement, targeted, thematic, and horizontal assessments).
•Assess audit engagements for conformance with CAS Policy/Guidance/Procedures, regulatory expectations, and the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards.
•Complete self-assessments and monitor changes to professional standards and regulatory guidance to assess impacts to QAIP methodology and governance.
•Validate and report on remediation activities tied to QAIP findings, including effectiveness and follow-up testing.
•Develop and communicate QAIP review results and concise reports to audit management, supporting Audit Committee and annual QAIP reporting.

Salary: 119,765 - 140,900 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
•Typically more than 8 years of experience.
•10+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Regulatory, Financial Services, or related fields.
•Expert knowledge of the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and internal audit quality assessment methodologies.
•Experience performing quality assurance reviews/self-assessments/external or regulatory assessments and assessing remediation effectiveness and root cause analysis.
