Job Summary

Senior Frontend Engineer who will own and shape the frontend experience for Counsel Health's AI-enabled care platform. You will build production-grade interfaces using React/Next.js in a hybrid NYC/Boston setting, collaborating with ML and backend teams to deliver performant, accessible patient and physician experiences.

Key Responsibilities

•Craft user interfaces for brand new paradigms of AI-enabled care that improve patient engagement and outcomes
•Co-create and own meaningful product experiences across our patient app and physician-facing care delivery platform, ensuring they are polished, performant, and accessible
•Shape frontend architecture: design systems, state management, responsiveness, testing, and web performance
•Partner with our ML research and backend teams: bring cutting-edge AI/LLM techniques into clinical workflows and translate them into product experiences
•Work closely with internal Product, Clinical and Design as well as prominent healthcare organizations nationwide

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 185,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of building production frontend software (startup or high-growth environment preferred)
•Deep fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript/CSS; strong command of React and Next.js; experience with Node.js or React Native is a plus
•A sharp eye for detail and expertise in CSS, animation, design systems, delivering beautiful, highly performant interfaces
•Familiarity with AI/ML and how recent developments in LLMs apply to real-world product challenges
•Strong ownership mentality, ability to work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
