Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery when needed for testing during installation.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems, then integrate keypad-to-telematics communications.
  • •Handle installation scenarios including complex wiring harnesses that access CAN network of vehicles and equipment.
  • •Diagnose and resolve problems by gathering/analyzing information and developing alternative solutions; occasionally work outside business hours and travel to client sites or rental yards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; good with hands.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC technician, car audio installer, or mobile electronics installer/automotive electronics technician/12V technician).
  • •Own tools and be able to pass a background check; clean driving record.
  • •Be willing to travel within a 250-mile radius up to a week at a time and perform physical tasks (drive, bend/squat, walk long distances, lift 25+ lb).
