Key Responsibilities

  • •Support strategic investment planning with data-driven engineering input and technical justifications for systems, processes, and solutions.
  • •Lead technical investigations related to rolling stock assets and interfaces (power supply, ATC and systems).
  • •Drive reliability and lifecycle initiatives, including asset performance analysis, engineering investigations, and engineering change management.
  • •Ensure compliance with ISO 55000 asset management principles and internal engineering governance while developing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and data models.
  • •Provide line management and people leadership for assigned staff, including capability/competence planning, mentoring, and performance management/employee relations processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or a diploma.
  • •Experience in a system engineering role in rolling stock depot and related interfaces.
  • •Proven track record in asset planning and maintenance development, including ability to develop and interpret large data sets.
  • •Experience with RAMS processes, FRACAS, Failure Review Boards, and engineering change management.
  • •Working knowledge of ISO 55000 series asset management standards and safety/QHSE compliance.
