Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under Austrian GAAP (UGB).
  • •Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and month-end close processes.
  • •Support regulatory and financial reporting for Austrian and European entities and assist in implementing new accounting policies.
  • •Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, outsourced accounting providers, and regulatory stakeholders to support audits and compliance.
  • •Implement and improve accounting controls, finance processes, and ERP workflows; drive automation and process improvements, including for crypto asset accounting and safeguarding analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, banking, payments, or another international environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of Austrian GAAP (UGB) and financial reporting principles.
  • •Experience preparing audits, financial statements, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
  • •Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • •Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product, and operations.
