Job Summary

Own month-end/year-end close, general ledger accounting, and financial and regulatory reporting for Bybit EU’s Austrian and European entities. Coordinate audits with external auditors, tax advisors, and outsourced accounting providers while ensuring compliance with Austrian accounting requirements. Help strengthen finance controls and documentation, support accounting analysis for crypto assets and safeguarding, and drive automation and finance transformation through improved ERP workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under Austrian GAAP (UGB).
•Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and month-end close processes.
•Support regulatory and financial reporting for Austrian and European entities and assist in implementing new accounting policies.
•Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, outsourced accounting providers, and regulatory stakeholders to support audits and compliance.
•Implement and improve accounting controls, finance processes, and ERP workflows; drive automation and process improvements, including for crypto asset accounting and safeguarding analysis.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, banking, payments, or another international environment.
•Strong knowledge of Austrian GAAP (UGB) and financial reporting principles.

•Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product, and operations.
