Job Summary

Own recruiting and people-operations processes end-to-end as a People & Talent generalist. Run intake, scheduling, candidate communication, and interview logistics; manage co-op hiring with university partners; maintain a clean ATS and surface funnel bottlenecks. Lead onboarding and the new-hire first week experience, administer the employee lifecycle in the HRIS, and act as a trusted first point of contact for everyday employee questions while supporting process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Run recruiting coordination end-to-end, managing intake, scheduling, candidate communication, and interview logistics across multiple roles.
•Own the co-op hiring lifecycle for the Mapping team, coordinating with university partners, hiring managers, and candidates.
•Support sourcing and maintain a healthy top-of-funnel for roles you own.
•Manage onboarding and the new-hire first-week experience by coordinating across IT, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
•Administer employee lifecycle activities in the HRIS (status changes, leaves, offboarding) and serve as a first point of contact for employee questions while escalating sensitive matters as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 90,000 - 105,000

Key Requirements

•5+ years’ experience in People/HR, recruiting coordination, or an ops-heavy role (or equivalent generalist experience).
•Exceptional organization and follow-through with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent threads.
•Strong communication skills for candidates and colleagues, with attention to detail for handling sensitive information.
•Ability to quickly learn and adapt to modern tooling such as Deel, Drata, Kula, and Claude.
•Self-starting and coachable, contributing effectively in a fast-moving, inclusive scale-up environment.
