Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-discipline Project Controls teams on high risk, high complexity, high value projects or programmes.
  • •Define scope using exclusions, assumptions, interfaces and dependencies, and coordinate scope decomposition to establish a Work Breakdown Structure.
  • •Work with the integrated project team to establish a robust, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline and manage the change control process.
  • •Integrate and align scope, cost, risk and schedule; analyse performance data using Earned Value Management to support delivery decisions.
  • •Mentor and coach team members, assure quality and integrity of Project Controls outputs, and communicate delivery performance with stakeholders to influence recovery planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a SOLE UK National able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).
  • •Have a proven track record delivering projects in highly regulated sectors such as defence or infrastructure.
  • •Have Project Controls experience across the whole project lifecycle.
  • •Use two or more Project Controls disciplines (e.g., Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Control, Risk Management, Performance Reporting) with associated tools.
  • •Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant technical or management field (or suitable equivalent) and be a member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management or Project Management Institute).
