Job Summary

Lead the design and coordination of overhead contact line projects within WSP Järnväg. You will guide technical surveying, develop solutions, and produce project descriptions and quantity takeoffs while acting as the external face to clients. You’ll work within a national team of experienced drafters and coordinate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver rail projects across Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical design and projection work for overhead contact line projects within large rail assignments.
•Develop and document technical project descriptions and quantity takeoffs, and provide practical engineering solutions to customers.
•Serve as WSP’s face to the client for contact line systems, presenting solutions and facilitating technical discussions.
•Support project leadership with resource planning, staffing, and cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
•Collaborate with discipline leads and a national team of project engineers to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical expertise in overhead contact lines for railway systems
•Extensive railway project design experience including detailing and documentation
•Experience coordinating and leading multidisciplinary teams across borders
•Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing
•Proven ability to lead technical design efforts and deliverables for large projects
