  • •Execute civil calculations, design options, reports, agency reviews, and construction drawings for civil design projects.
  • •Perform civil engineering designs including erosion and sediment control, SPCC plans, hydraulics/hydrology, civil grading, and stormwater management facilities.
  • •Prepare and respond to permit applications and agency (owner) comments during design.
  • •Train and mentor junior staff while coordinating with other engineering staff and stakeholders to support organized project execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • •Professional Engineer registration in North Carolina, or ability to obtain within one year.
  • •7-10 years of professional engineering experience (not including school).
  • •Valid state driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites and business meetings.
  • •Project management experience and team leadership skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite and civil design software (including AutoCAD Civil 3D).
