Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare desktop studies, including data review, interpretation, and development of technical documentation.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and undertake geotechnical site investigations, including drilling supervision, sampling, and in-situ testing.
  • •Collect and manage soil and rock samples and coordinate laboratory testing programs.
  • •Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant standards, guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • •Prepare factual and interpretive reports and assist with geotechnical analyses for foundations, slope stability, pavement designs, earthworks, and other structures.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or geological equivalent.
  • •Ideally 2-10 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology.
  • •Willingness to undertake regular fieldwork and travel.
  • •Demonstrated competency in scoping, planning, and managing geotechnical investigations.
  • •Familiarity with geotechnical software such as OpenGround/gINT, Rocscience, GeoStudio, and SLOPE/W, with working knowledge of Leapfrog or similar welcomed.
