Job Summary

Lead end-to-end consulting engagements for Visa’s clients across Southern Eastern Africa and West Central Africa, resolving complex strategic problems and guiding workstreams. Drive large, multi-area projects across financial institutions (including portfolio management, risk, and digital), while developing pitches, proposals, and re-engagement opportunities. Use Visa and external data to identify client needs, manage budgets/resources, and support delivery through implementation, training, and thought leadership. Hybrid role with in-office days confirmed by your hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Resolve clients’ complex strategic problems and ambiguous situations, synthesizing questions into actionable outcomes.
•Structure and deliver client engagements end-to-end and guide team members across consulting workstreams.
•Drive and deliver large engagements across Pan African financial institutions across areas such as portfolio management, risk, and digital.
•Develop pitches/proposals to secure new consulting assignments and re-engagement opportunities via consultative sales.
•Analyze client needs using Visa and external data, and—when needed—work on client site to project manage implementation and deliver client training.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of work experience including solid consulting experience from a strategy house or Big 4 firm.
•Experience in the financial services/payments industry.
•Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
•Superior project management skills and ability to manage project budgets and resources.
•Fluency in English; French and/or Portuguese preferred.
•Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to develop client presentations, including to senior executives and c-suite.
•Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
