Key Responsibilities

  • •Own monthly/quarterly/annual close for all in-scope entities and prepare US GAAP financial statements, including intercompany balances and sub-consolidations.
  • •Manage intercompany transactions (service fees, funding flows, cost allocations, loans), design elimination policies, and prepare sub-consolidation workpapers.
  • •Maintain books for BVI holding/operating entities and coordinate with offshore counsel and registered agents, including equity accounting and cash/funding positions.
  • •Apply ASC 820 and ASU 2023-08 for crypto asset fair value measurement and reconcile on-chain/off-chain positions with Custody and Operations.
  • •Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and board/investor packages; maintain internal controls and serve as primary external audit contact, while building a small accounting team and improving systems with Python and ERP enhancements.

Key Requirements

  • •Active CPA.
  • •10+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services or trading.
  • •Strong US GAAP technical skills including consolidation, intercompany accounting, equity method, and revenue recognition.

  • •Experience with BVI/Cayman entities and digital asset accounting knowledge (ASU 2023-08) is preferred.
