Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage planning, cost, risk, and performance management functions across projects, ensuring accurate schedule, cost, and scope baselines for governance and decision-making.
  • •Establish and execute PMO and project controls frameworks, including performance measurement baselines and periodic reporting consistent with contract and professional standards (e.g., EVM).
  • •Lead monthly project review processes and support financial reporting, ensuring status updates for stakeholders covering progress, budget, and issues/risks.
  • •Manage change requests and efficient change control, assessing impacts to schedule and cost; provide guidance to project teams on cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting processes.
  • •Lead and mentor a team of project controllers and drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, reporting standards, document management, and governance assurance steps.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area such as Project Management or Business Administration.
  • •10–15 years in project controls activities, including a minimum of 2 years as PCM with experience on high-value rail projects.
  • •Proven knowledge of core project controls toolsets and the ability to use them effectively to deliver accurate project performance data.
  • •Knowledge of contract and finance requirements in complex construction programs.
  • •Experience as PCM and SME in core project controls disciplines in a management role; APM or PMI membership is desirable.
