Key Responsibilities

  • •Process full-cycle, end-to-end Canadian payroll for 50–100 employees across one or more provinces, including data entry, validation, and disbursement.
  • •Ensure accurate calculation and remittance of CPP, EI, and federal/provincial income tax and statutory deductions, including payroll calendars, off-cycle runs, adjustments, and termination payouts.
  • •Serve as internal accountability for vendor-processed payrolls across LATAM and EMEA by reviewing, auditing, and approving payroll registers and reports each cycle.
  • •Monitor vendor SLAs, escalate discrepancies, and conduct periodic audits to validate compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • •Administer payroll systems/tools and deliver regular payroll reporting and analytics (e.g., headcount, labor cost summaries, variance analyses), partnering with HR, Finance, and Legal.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 85,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Canadian payroll processing.
  • •Experience processing multi-provincial Canadian payroll, including CRA remittances, T4 filing, and ROE submissions.
  • •Experience auditing or overseeing third-party/vendor-processed international payrolls across LATAM or EMEA jurisdictions.
  • •Strong working knowledge of payroll internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit documentation.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience (or equivalent experience).
