Job Summary

Provide independent advice and critiques to the Typhoon Weapon System Support Manager on Typhoon maintenance support topics. Monitor and report depth performance, calibration status (METCAL), munitions and role equipment availability, and the serviceability/readiness of aircraft and ground/role equipment. Support Safety & Quality systems, manage in-service baseline/RFL compliance, coordinate with suppliers and the Typhoon Support Center, and drive defect investigations and improvement actions to maximize fleet availability.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide professional advice and independent critiques to the Typhoon Weapon System Support Manager on Typhoon maintenance support topics.
•Monitor, report, and assess depth performance/asset availability and calibration (METCAL) to support fleet readiness.
•Monitor and provide independent assessment of munitions/role equipment and the serviceability of RSAF aircraft ground/role equipment.
•Identify root causes, initiate/progress defect investigations (depth and weapon/role equipment), and expedite consequential maintenance or modification actions.
•Support RFL governance by managing the in-service standard baseline, conducting reporting/briefs coordination, and coordinating interfaces with the TSC/PC/MODSAP as required.

Key Requirements

•Completed a recognised course of training or apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering or related technology.
•Extensive proven aircraft engineering/maintenance and logistics experience, including leadership in a management/senior supervisory position.
•Current 1st or 2nd Line Typhoon experience at Senior Supervisor level or above in a Typhoon operational environment.
•Working knowledge of Safety & Quality Management Systems and comprehensive appreciation of military airworthiness maintenance regulations.
•Be compliant in Maintenance Error Investigation techniques and understand the Continuous Improvement (CI) process.
